PINK HAIR AFFAIR is a collective formed in April 2007 by a group of recent graduates from the
University of The Arts.
The nine girls believe that the cross pollination of ideas within this collective forges a fresh
new vision of dance –
- one that keeps the world’s tricky tendency toward status quo at an all-time low
- one that keeps each member’s vigorously dancing body and mind unpretentiously grounded
- one that keeps each member’s head in the clouds as she dreams big and improvises on the wings of airplanes from Philly to the west coast to imaginary places and back.
An investment in the futures of the Pink Hair Affair women will produce returns in
sophistication, maturity, depth of our work and ability to reflect the world we live in.
